IT'S THE LAST!!!

Another Inter Technic competition. Just like the previous years, we need to prepare the school debators. It's not easy, but someone got to do it. searching for debators are not easy, preparing the materials for them is twice difficult and training them is tiresome...

This is the time when the coach would use her colourful language... *wink*

This year it's in Pontian. Looks like I've finally reached all the districts in Johore hehehe... If it's not for the Inter Technic competition I would've never set foot to some of the districts in Johore (though I'm a Johorian myself) *blush*

I hope this is going to be my last year. I don't think that I could go through it anymore... too tired!

well... kak mas n kak nor. You've done such a great job! Congrats!!!
I'll be praying that next year you guys would scrap off my name from the list, PLEASE!!!!!

#1 The students are practising for the debate.

#2 & 3 Our debators are in action, trying to eat the opponents *wink*

FOR HAPPY LIFE

Believe in yourself
But don't be overconfident,
Be satisfied
But know that you can always improve,
Accept love graciously
And always be ready to give more,
Be modest in victory and success
And courages in defeat,
Give more comfort and security to others
And you will always receive it in return,
be glad... just for being
The wonderful person that you are.
Life will always shower you with joys, sorrows and challenges. the best thing for you to do is accept them graciously and always hope that something wonderful will come to you sooner or later. Never let yourself down in any circumstances as it might lead to more unhappy thoughts.
Take life as it is; try new things everyday, smile to yourself and others, smell the flowers in the garden, listen to the sounds around you, look up to the sky and feel the hot sun againts your skin and be thankful that you are alive to live another day...
There's nothing more precious than having the chance to indulge yourself with the little pleasures life can offer...
GRREAT JUNE!!!

It seems that June is the best month for us teachers. Why? It's SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!!! For some teachers this is the time to take a break, go somewhere with their spouses or kids... Some would just prefer to stay at home to catch up on the much needed sleep. Unfortunately, some had to spend the holidays marking exam papers, like ME!!! Well... it's not that bad considering I had the time to go for a movie with an old friend (it's been years since I last stepped into a cinema), going shopping at Jalan Tuanku, Petaling Street, Central Market n even Shah Alam, n parted with a few hundred ringgit for this n that *wink* if u know what i mean..;-D
June is also a popular month for someone to get hitched hehehe...
A few dear friends got married this month, so..
CONGRATULATION ON UR WEDDING GUYS!!!!
mek lynn, sherry, suhaimi n yati... sorry I couldn't attend ur wedding.
But, I wish u guys a happy life and may ur marriage last to the end of time....
"till death do u guys part"

FESTIVAL LAYANG-LAYANG...

My first International Kite Festival was in 2001. It was a great experience as I got to learn and to experience a lot of things. Making the kites was a real challenge especially the train kites. We had to make 100 small kites of the same shape and size and tie them together. But.. flying them was the best task. When all of them flew in the air it was such a beautiful sight... if all 100 of them can fly lah... ;-p
Though we had to be under the hot sun for a week, the rewards were priceless. The students really enjoyed themselves playing the kites and meeting kite players from other countries. This is the time for them to practise their English *wink* :-) We always come out a champion every year and twice darker than our original colour hahaha.....
Congratulations to all... Abby, Hakimah do your best!!!!

HEY GALS!!!!

mm... suddenly i remember life in condo rakyat where all the beautiful girls used to live *wink* :-D
It was the best 2 years of my life living with 4 great and sweet ladies... miss asha's cooking, nani's smiles, bedd's roti canai and zura's tantrums. Haven't seen u gals 4 years. With 2 or 3 kids I wonder how much have u gals changed hehehe....

THE FIRSTBORNS!!!!

Teaching a bunch of restless and noisy teenagers is not an easy task… especially when u have a class of over 30 boys. What do expect? TOTAL CHAOS!!!!! When u try to tell them the differences between present tense and the past tense at 12.30 in the afternoon u’ll be greeted with sleepy eyes and blank faces. They’ll look at u as if u r talking to them in language from out of space. Well… of course English is a foreign language, but they listen to song and seen movies in English!!!! They can memorize the lyrics of the English songs by heart!!! But when u ask them to memorize a simple text for their essay… NOTHING!!!
Can still remember my first time teaching in class. As I stepped into the class, 40 pairs of male eyes stared at me curiously... I flashed a very sweet smile to them, but... inside I was scared to death hehehe... phew!!!

#1 My first class as a form teacher. 5 KE 3 2000.

#2 & 3 celebrating my ...th birthday with them was unforgettable. Please... have some cake!
